Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the former Saint Louis County Jail in Duluth, Minnesota was purchased by Grant Carlson in 2010. After completing the first phase of work to stabilize the building, the development team explored many development strategies, finally making a commitment to rental housing in 2016 - offering 33 mixed income residential units after completion. Construction on “Leijona” started in October 2021 and and was completion at the end of 2022.
