Located in St. Louis, the Leather Trades Building was built in 1912 for a leather tanning business. In more recent years it had a place in the arts community of St. Louis as an underdeveloped, but inexpensive, old building with a number of working artist studios. The property then sat vacant for years.

It is now home to 86 one and two bedroom affordable rental lofts for artists and their families in St. Louis' warehouse district. Their doors opened in 2012 with 100% occupancy.
